Electroretinography (ERG) and Electro-oculography (EOG)
Electroretinography (ERG) and Electro-oculography (EOG) are eletrophysiological tests similar in many ways to the more familiar electrocardiogram (EKG) which is used routinely to test the electric activity of the heart. ERG and EOG test the electric functioning of the tiny cells of the retina and are used when patients are suspected of having degerative or inherited retinal disorders.
